Backups are of key importance and matter to each and every single database deployment. pg_hardstorage is a new approach to database backups and introduces new concepts that are important to large scale deployments on prem as well as in the cloud. During this presentation we will discuss some of the key concepts and some of the most important aspects of this brand new tooling while focusing on practical implications and real world deployments.
